My name is Laura and I come from Ireland. I am fascinated by languages: how they differ, how we use them and, in particular, how we learn them.
I spend a lot of time learning and practicing languages; it's something I really enjoy. This passion helps me understand my students and the challenges they face in gaining the confidence needed to really use a language.

I tailor my lessons to the needs and aims of my students; if desired, I can focus lessons on speaking, writing, reading, or listening. A solid knowledge of grammar is essential for the acquisition of any language and works to guide students through even the trickiest grammar aspects. Alongside this I like to make lessons interactive and enjoyable for students. I encourage students to speak as much as they can because it is through really using a language that you learn it the best.
